Kent Heltne
Kent comes to the position of Lay Leader having been a member of Paradise Valley UMC for 4 years. Kent has been active as a member of the Missions
Ministry Team and led the mission trip to Guatemala in October, 2006. He also is a member of the Wesley Covenant Group Adult Sunday School class.
He sings in the Chancel Choir and plays in the Bell Choir.
Prior to coming to PVUMC, Kent and his wife Cindy lived in Orlando, Florida where they attended St. Luke's UMC. They have two grown daughters, Kristen
and Ashley who live in San Francisco.
In his free time, Kent enjoys hiking, most sports and outdoor activities, traveling and spending time with his family.
Cindy Griffin, Chairperson, Church Council
Cindy Griffin serves as the Chairperson of Church Council, which is the primary governing body of Paradise Valley
United Methodist Church. In this role, Cindy leads the church’s oversight of program and ministry development and implementation and oversight
of financial and property issues.
Cindy is a member of our Healing Prayer Team and leads a Disciple II adult Bible study class. Previously, she has led a Disciple III adult Bible
study class, taught children’s Sunday School, assisted with Vacation Bible School and chaired the Children’s Ministry Team. Cindy has one
son who is in the second grade.
