The Paradise Valley United Methodist Church community gathers for special worship services several times a year.
Advent: A Memorial Service of Light is celebrated on the first Sunday of Advent to remember those of our church family who have died during the year. Contact: Tawn Watkins
Christmas Eve: Several services are offered throughout the afternoon and evening, ending with a midnight candlelight service.
Lent: Ash Wednesday services mark the beginning of Lent. During Holy Week, children help celebrate Palm Sunday with a Palm Parade. Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services are held, with Easter morning culminating in an array of services, starting at Sunrise in our amphitheater and ending with an 11:00 a.m. service in our Sanctuary.
September 11: We gather on September 11 to remember the events of 2001 and to pray for peace and understanding among all peoples.
